Cathy MaderDear Colleagues,

In our quick hits slots real money, there are six trained staff, five of whom are where's the gold free pokies and one part time. And throughout the growth of our , there is one nurse who stands above us all in her passion and caring for apheresis and our patients. Cathy Mader (on the right) is a Newfoundlander through and through, resilient, hardworking, and always loving with a “heart of gold” as they say in the Maritimes. Cathy trained on the Baxter machine and phased in the Cobe but when the new Optia technology was introduced, she embraced this information with such enthusiasm that she carried the rest of our team forward into the 21st century. Always positive, ever cheerful and never forgetting the patient attached to the machine, Cathy is equally a mentor to her team, sharing and teaching her wealth of apheresis knowledge. While she worked full time at the bedside, she rewrote all the apheresis policies in preparation for FACT and hospital accreditation.
Therefore, we felt that if there is an award to be given this year, we would like to honor her dedication and tireless work as the quintessential Apheresis nurse and nominate her for the annual Terumo award.
